With horrified, trembling eyes, Angel watched as countless Three Tails covered the aircraft, ripping the metal surface off and slaughtering everyone inside.

All it took was a single moment and the tide changed.

"Shields!" A commander commanded and on qué the mechs flew into the air. Together with the jets, they blasted beams at the swarm.

Melee soldiers raised their shields while their bodies were lowered. This gave the range soldiers the opportunity to shoot.

"Where do you think you're going?" Li Mei grabbed Angel's arm because Angel stood up and was about to leave.

"I can't stay here while they're out there. He's also there."

"As much as I share the same view as you, an order is an order. We'll only worsen the situation for him so control your emotions."

Exhaling loudly, Angel sat down. "They need that shield or we'll lose countless lives."
