Mekelle is a small town, about the size of a county in our country, not too big of a county though—just the kind with a population of about a hundred thousand or so.
The roads were surprisingly good, much better than Gao Guang had imagined, and then the hotel was quite nice too: A homey establishment run by a white couple, with a total of twelve rooms, Gao Guang and his group occupied four because the remaining eight were all taken by foreigners who were traveling.
Out of the four rooms, Gao Guang definitely occupied one by himself; he was the boss, after all, and he had to maintain that facade. Then Yuan Zheng had a room to himself because no one wanted to room with him, leaving the last two rooms to be shared among four people.
Not bothering with anyone else, Gao Guang just wanted to take a bath and then sleep well in bed for a whole day and night.
After taking a bath, Gao Guang had hardly fallen asleep when Leonid knocked on his door.
