Outpost No. 1837 wasn't a real building in the true sense of the term, but was constructed from modules that were similar to shipping containers – portable, detachable, and reassembleable – and relied on the jagged trenches for support.

The majority of the Federation's outposts in the Scarred Gorge were of this form.

The first to arrive were the logistics troops assigned to Ji Xinghe by the Western War Zone. They were very familiar with these kinds of conditions and immediately began repairs on some of the construction modules upon settling.

The next to arrive was Chen Xun, who drove solo. After parking his vehicle, Chen Xun, dressed in his Single Soldier Exoskeleton Armor and carrying his three guns, entered the outpost. Following the direct orders of the Western War Zone, he formally assumed command of this logistics unit.
