Bab 103: A Contract

"You want to sell my child to some human?" Sophia cried out.

Ronan sighed on relief. At least he wasn't the only one who thought this idea was insane.

"Not sell." Alpha Jasper said irritably. "Simply arrange a marriage contract." 

"No! That's crazy. We can't just arrange a marriage between a werewolf and a human! What will happen if my daughter or son find their mate? What will happen to the so called marriage then?" Sophia asked. 

Ronan's eyes blazed with fury. "A marriage contract is just a fancy way of selling them off! You're treating my child like some bargaining chip."

Alpha Jasper's gaze hardened. "Watch your tone, Ronan. This isn't just about your family. It's about the survival of our pack. The alliance with the humans could be vital to our future."
