Bab 50: Unexpected visitor

Roy's answer aggravated Veron even more to the point that Skye also found the atmosphere becoming increasingly unfavorable. But what alarmed him was the way Veron calmly picked Karina's legs and carried her princess-style to the three-seater sofa.

He just knew that once Veron lets go of Karina, Roy may die the next second as Veron was enraged.

Skye quickly moved before Veron could drop Karina. He picked up the drink and sniffed it to confirm it was indeed vodka.

"This is vodka, Roy. What are you saying?" Skye asked, and the next second, his hand was wrapped around Roy's neck and he slammed him against the wall with as much force as he knew the omega could handle. "Are you trying to kill her?"

"I swear by the moon goddess, boss, I am also as confused as you are. I took the bottle from the refrigerator specified for water storage and I brought it directly to her." Roy hurriedly explained, his body trembling like a leaf under Skye's grip.
