Bab 67: Start talking

It wasn't up to three minutes since Karina stepped out of the room after telling Nori she was headed for Veron's house when an urgent knock echoed on the door.

Nori frowned. She would have thought Karina forgot something and was back to retrieve it, but why would she knock instead of just entering?

The door was not locked, it was just closed. And even if it were locked, Karina had her own key.

"Nori." A voice called from outside the door just when Nori dropped the book she was reading and stood up.

The voice was familiar, and just like the knock, it sounded urgent. Nori hastened her steps to answer the door.

It was Isabelle, a student staying in the room next to theirs. She was also a junior, but in a different department which Nori hadn't bothered to find out.

She looked extremely troubled and worried, making Nori wonder what was going on with her.
