Salma said nothing anymore as they continued on their journey. There was a slight furrow between her brows as she thought of everything that happened.

They inquired from four people at the mall, and none of them could catch the slightest scent from Gideon's body, even while she was standing right next to him and still getting it. She had changed position, moving to the other side while they sniffed the side she just vacated, but the result was still the same.

There was no way all of them could be lying unless he manipulated them, but she was certain he didn't. So how come she alone could catch his scent? Oh, not just her. He mentioned that Veron could do that too.

"I'm sorry." She muttered, feeling she wronged him by making him go through having strange people sniff his body.

"What for?" Gideon probed, lifting a brow.

"For not believing you." She gave an answer that made him chuckle.
