Bab 386: Let Me Borrow

For the next couple of days, whenever Raelle and Shui Xian went running in the morning, Shui Xian would look around the track but when he didn't catch a glimpse of whom he had been looking for, his eyes droop down showing his mood clearly.

On a Friday morning, it happened again. Raelle took a moment to contemplate before she asked one of her bodyguards to do something for her. That evening when Raelle came from work, she didn't go home. Instead, the car took another turn in the residential area. As the driver parked the car, she asked, "Is this the house?"

"Yes, Missy!"

Raelle stepped out to look at the house in front of her and stepped over to ring the doorbell. She waited for a while but there was no response. She rang the doorbell again. But it was only after ringing the doorbell three times that the door was opened.
