Bab 162: Increasingly Shameless

After a vigorous night of fervent lovemaking, Amelia woke up refreshed, even if her muscles ached at the workout. Matteo was snoring next to her, with the barest bit of drool gathered at the side of his lips. He seemed to be at peace as he slept, it was as though he had finally cast aside all his burdens. 

Either that or their lovemaking was just so good that it made him forget about everything that was troubling him. The very thought was so ludicrous that she let out the tiniest of snorts, a hand slowly stroking his cheek. She gently wiped away the spot of drool with the pad of her thumb so as not to wake Matteo up, but his eyes fluttered open at her touch.

"Good morning," Matteo murmured quietly. 

"Sshh, go back to sleep," Amelia said quietly. "We're supposed to take a rest day, remember?"
