Bab 144: Decision

After Ashton walked away, Sage squinted her eyes in pain. Her pain vanished instantly, and as Ashton's statement about Cyrus being jealous echoed in her head, she was completely taken aback.

She began to move her body, attempting to break free from Cyrus' immobile grip on her, but he refused to let go. Instead, he released her, made her face him, and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing their bodies against each other.

He was staring at her with a straight face and his demon eyes were once piercing holes into her widened emerald.

Why were his eyes that way?

He wasn't a demon, but an ice dragon! He continued to perplex her, but she couldn't deny that she was stunned by what Ashton said.

Was he jealous?

What made him so jealous?

He stated that he had been keeping an eye on her and Ashton... Did he mean that he had been following her without her knowledge all morning?
