Bab 29: Chapter 29

"Apology accepted," Lumma gazed at Jane indifferently, not knowing what her game was. Lumma added, "But it was Mr. Hills who kicked you out of the Hills Group. No one could change his mind. I suppose you know him better than I do after working with him for years."

"Lumma, you are the one who can change his mind. He did these for you," Jane was getting emotional and grabbed Lumma's arms hysterically.

Lumma didn't know whether Jane pinched her injured hand on purpose or not. Jane continued, "Lumma, please. I'm begging you. You're the only one who can help me. I will be a dead meat if you don't help me."

"Jane, let go of me first. You're hurting me," Lumma managed to push her away in vain. A normal person couldn't beat a crazy man, not to mention her arm was hurt.

Jane held onto Lumma and shook wildly, "No, I won't let you go. I'll be washed up if I let you go."

"Let her go!" Adam roared in a deep voice.
