Bab 185: Chapter 184 Tour 5
"Why are they wearing normal clothes?" I had to ask. "Suddenly curious about my bodyguards hmm?" "I just wanted to know, there's no crime in wanting to know something!" I rolled my eyes.
"They we're on vacation too, so I asked them to gaurd us for today, since we're leaving the villa!" He explained as we drove through many fancy restaurant. "Why didn't you carry bodyguards this time, thought you were the troops of bodyguard man!" "I could make some introductions if you want, after all you're my queen!" He smiled.
"I don't need any introductions, you will not change who I am Alex!" He chuckled. Since we were not yet at the restaurant he had planned out, I used my time to admire the beautiful view of Santorini. Everything in here were white in colour.
Normal people moved around, taking tour around and snapping pictures. Oh I almost forgot, Carie asked me to send pictures, I haven't even told her we already did it. Carie's so going to tease me for the rest of this month.
"We're here!" I heard Alex say. We got out of the car and strode into the restaurant with Alex holding my wrist. It seemed like a fancy restaurant, the best I've seen so far. Alex always holding my wrist was becoming a habit for him, and I liked it most times.
"Welcome to Melitini, do you have a reservation please?" A waiter greeted for us to get in. "Wilson!" "Welcome sir we've been expecting your arrival!" The man spoke so politely and if he was not human I would have thought he had no flaws.
We got to our table and breakfast was served. "The ocean looks so breathtaking!" I smiled starring up a conversation since our table have been quiet the whole time. "Hmm, it is, I wonder what place can be better than this?" His eyes were on me and I could tell what he was talking about.
"I'll find a place way better than this!" I narrowed my eyes at him accepting his challenge. "Good luck with that!" Alex picked a berry with his fork
I took pictures of the view not wanting to forget Carie's request.
We were finally done with breakfast, and we left the restaurant. "We're are we headed now?" "It's a surprise Hazel!" I got curious wanting to know what Alex had in mind.
If Alex had dared me to pick a place for vacation, it means It had to be the best place. A place we haven't explored yet.
We arrived at a green old gate that yawned open on our arrival. The place was deserted, more like a forest, like someone bought huge plots of lands just to own it and then build nothing on it. Alex drove further till we got to an apartment.
It looked more like a cabin and the only building that resided in this forest. "Mr Wilson!" A man greeted as he stepped out of the cabin. He was dressed like a farm person, with so much trucks, bikes, quadbikes motorcycle parked at a corner. They were more than a thousand parked motors.
"I and my wife need a ride into the lands Clause!" "Wow, you got yourself a pretty one Boss. Hello beautiful!" Clause smiled broadly at me. "Hello!" I smiled sweetly. "She's quite flirtatious don't fall for it!" Alex said for the man to walk in the midst of his quad bikes till he picked five out of it.
I met his gaze, how was greeting someone flirting? I just couldn't understand. "There they are, the new ones!" Clause words distracted me from my thoughts.
He picked out five squad bikes, why did he bring out five quadbikes when it was clear that I didn't know how to ride this? I met Alex's gaze and he met mine as Chad sighed some papers with the man. "Alex I don't know how to ride!" I whispered as I turned a little bit anxious. "I know!" Was all he said as the man handed the keys to us.
We wore the helmets given and the ride began, "Don't worry much it's not that hard Hazel, besides I'm here!" He helped me on the bike, after changing my outfit into a red riding pants, boots and gloves.
Only heaven knew how scared and terrified I was, but Alex still insisted I drove the bike. With shaky hands I held the handle bars. "The road ahead is straight and clear, this should be easy for you!" He smiled. "Don't worry if you sustain any injury, I would be glad to take good care of you!"
I still didn't understand. How could Alex do this to me? Honeymoon was usually the time the couple's experience different romantic moment and make love together. They creat and unforgettable moment together.
Though this was an unforgettable moment, but it was nothing close to being romantic. It would be romantic riding behind him, feeling the wind move between my hair as I clutched unto his shirt firmly. Not when I'm riding on my own. "Make sure you're comfortable Hazel, or you're gonna fall!" He said firmly and I did as told.
His smiles were long gone, replaced with an indifferent face. I wouldn't lie he looked so scary at that moment.
'Wait, when Alex said he paid for my driving lessons, did he mean himself? My God.
"Now press the start button!" He said for me to press it. "Push the clutch handle by your left!" I did as told and the quad bike started accelerating in low movement. I was in awe at the same time scared, I was doing it, I was moving a quad bike. Wait until I brag before Carie then you'd know how big of a deal this is.
Alex hopped on his bike, moving in same slow pace I was riding same as his bodyguards. He still instructed me on what to do. Slowly I got used to it and started driving at minimum speed. I was having so much fun with this.
It was evening already as we left the coniferous pine foggy forest. I was ready to retire for the day when we stopped at a marina. "The water views are always nice in the evening so I booked us an evening experience!" He smiled, waving his hands for the bodyguards to finally leave.
That action caught me, "Thought you said we needed them for security reasons?" "Oh believe me when I say they're everywhere!" He held my wrist and took me in.
It was a private premium Catamaran cruise with barbecue and drinks. There was nothing better than, having a dinner date with the man you love in a private yatch on the water, in the best place there is.
The chef served the BBQ as we ate dinner. The slow romantic music, blended with the splendid oceanic veiw couple with the peaceful wind, it was like nature was on our side tonight.
We got back to the Marina and headed back to the Villa. The day was quite stressful as we both got to the bathroom for a hot steamy jacuzzi bath.
