Running like the scared cat that she was, Lu Wendy called out to her friend.
"QiQi! QiQi!!!"
Turning around to see what it was, Sun Ruoqi saw the panic in Lu Wendy's dark eyes.
"What could it be this time? I hope it's not something serious."
Her voice made some of the guest to turn in her direction, causing Lu Wendy's face to turn several shades redder from embarrassment.
"The way she's walking I hope she doesn't fall."
Just as the thought crossed her mind, Sun Ruoqi watched as Lu Wendy tripped over the bag that one of the guests kept by the pews carpet.
"Please don't cry! Wendy!"
It seemed luck was on her side that day, because her friend rose gingerly from the floor without the help of anyone, while onlookers sent pitiful looks her way.
"Phew! What a relief! I would have thought she'd cry."
Sun Ruoqi smiled inwardly as her friend covered the distance between them.
"It would seem that our shy Wendy is growing up."
Her inner musing came to her end when she heard what Lu Wendy had to say.
"QiQi! I think some people from Tiffany's company are trying to make trouble for her!"
