Bab 46: "What of it?"

"Where are you taking me?"

Giro asked Anni, who was effortlessly carrying her in one arm. The spell that Anni had placed on her had worn off and they were flying through the air in a direction she was kind of familiar with.

"Where do you think we are going?"

Giro can tell that they are going through the neighborhood where she lives, but she doesn't want to speak out about it because she wouldn't want Anni to reach her home. Her child was there, and she never wished to get her child in trouble, especially when her child was sick and weak.

"I don't know. I don't know this place."

Anni scoffed at Giro's response and landed on one of the house roof.

"This is your house, right?"

"N-no. I don't live here."

Anni let out a sigh before he let go of Giro. She then checked the area first to see if there was someone else inside the house.

"Let's go."
