Bab 226: PRACTICING MAGIC FOR THE LORD

Magdalene lay on the bed with Lucas by her side. She was just about to go to bed when he surprisingly came and plopped himself beside her bed. She had no choice but to be with him.

"Any arising matters in euphoria?" Magdalene started. They had lay together in a comfortable silence for a few minutes before she decided to ask him about work.

"Euphoria is a big empire. Of course their are always arising issues , but nothing to make milady worry about" He said and she laughed shyly.

"The witches. They've been too calm lately. Sometimes I fear that they'll soon bring in a bigger plot Lucas" She expressed her fears to him.

"Their was a witch massacre two days ago at the Land in the east"Lucas said. Magdalene was very surprised to hear what he said

"A massacre?"

"Yes. It happened in a small village. Fifty people were killed. I assume it was for a ritual." Lucas explained.

"They won't relent until they open the magic" She said with a tired look.
