Of course, Penny wouldn't let anyone actually choose Sophia. There were quite a few rich young men who liked her type, but if they asked, Penny would simply say that someone had already reserved her, using her as eye candy to show off. If they were interested, she'd tell them to come earlier next time.

After this absurd and brief "show," Sophia, dressed only in an orange sleeveless dress, was drenched in sweat, as if she were about to collapse.

She didn't know what those people outside had said about her, but she knew they all now believed she was a woman who sold drinks, laughs, and perhaps even her body. From this moment on, she would bear that reputation, one that could never be washed away!
