Bab 161: Chapter 165: Ritual Before Hiking

Two days later at the barangay Ilomavis in the Cotabato, Davao del Sur; a white Van stopped before unloading its passengers to the roadside. 

"Finally, the long boring trip is over!" Chiko excitedly shouted as he went out of the van. He then proceeds to stretch his muscles as a pro athlete does. In front of them are many stores that sell many tourist souvenirs and camping tools for those who need them.

Following behind Chiko is his grandma,

"Who says the long trip is over?" she said while panning her gaze to the high mountain peaks at the distance which is Mount Apo itself.

"What do you mean, Lala? Aren't we going to ride a motorcycle from here? Or maybe an hour or two hikes?" Chiko asked while slowly picking up their heavy travel bags. Of course, he and his grandma are already in hiking attire.
