Bab 14: Chapter 14: Coexistence
I don't think anyone of us expected it to be so incredible that visit to the Mysterious Island, I was really excited for my first mission in this new life I have, the skills I will show, the new attitude I've been acquiring, I had to leave aside my little fearful and shy self that I was before, this is a new journey and I have to take advantage of it as such. But already from the beginning everything indicated that it wouldn't be a simple mission after all, I could already tell that Blaze's impatient impulse was going to play a dirty trick on us, it's not that he has a good tolerance, he prefers to avoid a bigger danger if there's a chance to stop it, although he also gets excited when he finds someone who can fight him, that means he can still show how strong and incredible he is. Because of Blaze's impulsive feeling, we end up getting into something that could easily have been avoided, the appearance of Carmis from the first instances was not threatening, it was not scary, rather he looked innocent in some parts, he looked like a person who just wanted to live with other people.
But this didn't matter much to Blaze who decided to check it in his own way, concluding that the demon was someone evil and responsible for the anomalies that we detected in these days, at that moment he already thought that he was drawing conclusions too quickly from his own critique, it is true that he listened to his companions, I left them minutes to be able to chat calmly with Carmis, but it seems that she didn't understand that all the tricks that the demon said, were only stories told, and it wasn't only her who was bothered by that fact, but the demon himself was also annoyed that they were only lies and not truths.
The unexpected had begun, Blaze would attack the demon to literally end a threat that could be in the future, someone who looks like that, someone who acts like that, someone who is like that, someone who is like that, simply does not deserve to live for Blaze, but none of us counted that Carmis would have an ability that was able to control the opposite sex, every woman who fell into his technique, would be possessed by the same demon, more than anything he used it to reassure her, and for disrespecting him, he would give her a deserved punishment. Hearing this, her other companions tried to dialogue, but the Demon had no intention of stopping him, not knowing what was going to happen to him, he would try to stop the Demon that...each one was losing against him easily because of the special ability he had, we weren't facing just any Demon, Carmis was an Incubus.
But I didn't really need to fight him to get my friends back, because I knew that nothing was going to happen to them, and after a little chat with that demon, it was clearer my decision from before, Carmis was a good guy. So thanks to the friendship that was being forged, the Demon could accept the request of that little boy, to be able to fight and win in every fight he had with his companions, so he could rescue them and Blaze would not receive his punishment for his misbehaviour.
I was determined with this, it was my chance to be able to face my classmates in a serious way, because since long before, I felt that feeling that I still needed to become closer to each one of them and to know if I am really willing to grow as a person. The first fight was with Zeta, who called herself my mother in this world, she was the one who paid the most attention to me and took care of me above all, always looking out for my well being and wanting my personal growth above all things, Zeta wanted everything to go well for me in small steps and to fill me with achievements that... the truth is that I was not really satisfied.
In that first fight I realised many things, my techniques and my way of fighting, they were what I am, technically it is to give a child powers out of another world and that he uses them as such, a simple small child...I was with a wall where I understood better why Zeta treated me like a small child, she pampered me and was tender with me, don't misunderstand me, I like her to be like that with me, from the group, she always behaves like that with all her companions but...I go and I want to stop being a child here too. ...before that wall that was difficult to overcome, she was much better than me, in techniques, in skills, in her way of planning a plan, she was much stronger than me, and that special ability that she has, that doesn't allow you to move your body at will or react to something that you shouldn't, I was really overpowered but...I really wanted to beat her, I wanted with all my being to show her that I can stop being a child that gets an easy victory in training and that I can win in a real combat. I wanted him to see me proud of a victory that I won by myself, I wanted him to see it, just like I used to strive in my former world so that my family could see that I was improving.
In the second fight the fight was going to be against Rouge, this one didn't take long to start and the truth felt that it was going to be easy, knowing that I could win this fight thanks to the fact that I won the previous one, that feeling of being able to win was increasing more and more, but it seems that this fight was also going to have a slight teaching or give me to understand many things. First of all Rouge seems that he wasn't possessed by Carmis and he was just playing the game, the fact that he could talk was the key to it, and also his way of attacking, he was really going to finish me, but not that way of finishing me as they think, but that way of finishing her .... Fighting against her was extremely rare, it was like receiving juvenile sexual lessons. ...she also wanted to see me grow up, but in a different way, that made me think about something, how I will become when I get older, not all my life I will stay as a child, I will become a teenager and then become an adult, but...what kind of person will I become in those stages? With Rouge, everything becomes a little bit of a dirty subject, so to speak, and the truth is... I think that if it goes on like this, I might actually get to have a certain taste for the way I'm living, although it wasn't to be expected, since when I was in primary school, I really liked to watch series with the same theme, you know...I don't know how to say it...No doubt fighting her made me feel uncomfortable in many ways, even the way I defeated her, but...what was that ending? Why were you wagging your tail at me like I was a ....ohh, I see, although I knew it but...I think she wants to see me grow up and how I get to take all those things into account, in this world you have to be prepared for everything, will I find myself or will I take it as something normal someday? I don't know...The only thing I can highlight in this fight out of all that, is that her defense was something incredible.
While in the third fight, after having beaten Rouge, that feeling of being able to beat anyone who appears in front of me was more than clear, I was really confident that I can beat anyone, and with a few simple blows, they gave me to understand that I had to come down from the clouds, fighting against Amy, it was really something that I did not expect, Normally when you see her at the first instance, you would think that she is quiet, too gentle and good, of course she is, but when she shows herself as she really is, no doubt she disturbs me in many ways, firstly in training, there I realized that she would show no mercy to anyone she decides to face, I really thought she was going to kill me with her hammer at any time. And in this serious fight I got to know her better, she doesn't want to be behind the back of others anymore, she also wants to show that she is someone capable and not just a support for the team, she can also shine in many aspects, I'm sure she worked hard to get to where she is now, the raw power and physicality she has, the melee skills she has is incredible.If he hits you in specific points of your body, you can be sure that you won't be able to move or respond at all, but it wasn't just that, Amy was annoyed and furious with me for some reason, the reason was that I had potential and I wasn't taking advantage of it as I should, being the weakest of the group for now, when she saw what I was capable of, perhaps it made her feel an inferiority complex, it wasn't just me, she must have felt the same with her other teammates. And I was only paying the price, Amy was also taking advantage of the moment to make it clear to me that, in reality, I am someone strong, when I told her that I could give up because I couldn't do it anymore, Amy got angrier, I think I even disappointed her at that moment... If she wanted me to prove that I could beat her, that also made me believe that she could beat me, I don't even understand how, but I collected energy in my fist, with skill and speed I could defeat her, I could beat her, that annoyed her even more, because she knows that if time goes by, there won't be another opportunity like this, there won't be a chance for them to defeat me once in their lives. I didn't expect much but I ended up being very grateful for this fight with Amy, I really learned that I'm going to get even stronger, and even if I am, I'm going to lose anyway.
The fourth fight was like the end of the previous one, having Blaze in front of me, with a totally exhausted and tired me, who knew perfectly well that I could not win against the one I had in front of me, even with all the disadvantage that I had, that little boy, anyway I was going to give everything to be able to also come out victorious in this fight. I gave everything, I did everything, I fought until I was totally exhausted, I even unlocked a new power which is the use and release of Ki. No doubt it was a fun fight and Blaze was the last one to conclude with the last training he needed, but before also our bonds of friendship seemed to become stronger and more genuine, something was happening instead ....
Carmis while the fights were going on and when he met M after the fights, there was something he was worried about and he wanted to finish at this moment too so that he wouldn't become a problem for his guests. He had in the deepest part of the castle a creature that the only thing he was thinking at that moment was to be able to defeat anyone who showed determination and a great power to stand out, his name was Sonic the Werehog. His name was Sonic the Werehog, who was becoming more and more noticeable with every fight, his existence in the castle could no longer be hidden, sooner or later he would come out to show how incredible and immovable he was. Carmis had to defeat him but... he felt that he wouldn't be able to do it, because if he put himself in the skin of the real thing, he wasn't as strong or incredible as in his stories, he knew they were false, he knew they were lies, but he really wanted to become a legend to whom nothing of his words would contradict him, Carmis wanted to become someone genuine with himself.
Sonic the Werehog was like the first step to defeat, he must have seen it as a destiny to meet him, he had to defeat him, he wanted to defeat him, he wished he could defeat someone so strong, this could be the beginning of his legend like in the stories, and after seeing for himself the fights and decision of little M, Carmis couldn't stay behind, he pushed that idea that even if you are weak, you can really achieve many things, that winning would be good, but losing is also something much more important. No matter what the outcome, Carmis wanted to give his all in this fight that meant so much to him. But the fight didn't end up favouring him and he postponed it again, this was as much a humiliation and anger for Carmis as it was for Sonic, who also wanted to end this fight once and for all. The beast had been released, on the final floor, were the only ones who could still put up a fight, Carmis, Sonic and Blaze, this was going to end here and now, but also for some reason M was in it, he didn't feel he was here, is the reason why Sonic the Werehog had brought him here, was the decision and growth he got?
But it would quickly become clear that it wasn't just going to end here, Blaze was still upset with Carmis for believing that this was all his fault, that he was really going to pay dearly, Blaze was determined to destroy and tear apart everything he got. Making it clear to her that she's going to defeat Sonic to hurt his pride and then kill him for even more fun, who has been mean to her friends, Blaze seems to have no mercy. The Demon wouldn't be left without anything to do either, he would respond in the same way that he would finish with Sonic, because it is his fight and he himself must finish it, and with that enmity between the 2 and a monster in between, he started the last fights that there were, you could notice Blaze's intentions, He attacked them both without mercy, but he didn't count on Carmis's portal who caused her a lot of problems, there was no coordination, it wasn't teamwork, they were launching attacks to see if they could hit their target, it seemed more like a pitched battle between the 3 of them. But in the middle of the fight, because of Blaze who deflected an attack from Sonic, that huge fist was going to hit his friend who was unable to move or speak, he realized his mistake too late and .... who he considered the enemy, ended up saving M from his fault, this made her understand and indicate that, maybe she was wrong.
The fight became even more incredible, when more than M wanted his two friends to fight together to finish Sonic, he ended up fainting giving the impression that he died, it was enough for Blaze, who ended up finally unleashing the power that he boasted and talked about so much, his Unleashed Form. The increase in power and abilities was beastly, she could overcome Sonic the Werehog with ease, the fight took her back to the first floor, where you could see how inferior she treated her opponent as she was stronger, she had become more arrogant and cocky rather than just being impulsive.
She was going to win, she was about to win, but Sonic was going to prove that this was not enough to defeat him, he also increased his power, now he was glowing and gushing electricity from his body, which as she herself could experience, turned out to be a huge disadvantage for her, quickly from how strong and invincible she behaved, she returned to the reality that she still lacked much more for the world. She was a full-fledged warrior who had earned that merit through her own efforts, and as such, even if she was outmatched, she was still going to fight to the end. But her friends saved her at the last moment before she saw her defeat, this annoyed her, there couldn't be anyone stronger than her, otherwise she would look like a fool for all the things she said and... Amy gave her to understand that easily, she really was an idiot.
At the scolding and sincerity of her teammates towards Blaze, she realised that this was too much for her to handle alone. Now with the team almost complete, they were going to bring their friend back. But as they resorted to the plan to bring him back, Blaze worried about M and went to check on him, meeting Carmis along the way along with M, who would not hesitate the cat to finish Carmis off once and for all. She had him strangling his neck to kill him, that same action was what prevented him from fulfilling the plan from before, making Sonic lash out against the 3 companions who could only resist. Blaze was still thinking that all this is Carmis' fault, that he must die to not cause a bigger problem in the future, where the Demon could only save himself by making it clear to him that the little boy was still alive, for his luck, this ended up saving him. Blaze would go to check on his friend, and yes, he was still with us. This left him and reinforced what he had previously seen from Carmis, the demon was perhaps someone he could trust, so he didn't do it for her, he did it for the friendship that M made, Blaze would go to support his companions and let the Demon end it all.
The last fight was taking place, they were all against Sonic the Werehog who was invincible and nobody could defeat him, Blaze Unleashed Form would go for her second revenge, who's first goal was to see if she could defeat Sonic, but this was something impossible for her, In the end they would all use their last strength, they would all give a last effort to leave Sonic unprotected and unable to do anything, they only needed a moment to do it, where Carmis would appear at the last moment to finally conclude this battle, achieving victory for all of them.
『We...We...We.... WE WON!!!!! WE DID IT!!!!』

The rain seemed to have stopped at the end of the fight, the only thing that remained was a castle that with the fights that occurred, it was so weakened that it would be normal that in another storm, it could no longer resist and would be completely destroyed. Carmis was on top of the monster, who, happy with the victory, was shouting at the top of his lungs, when the fight was over, Zeta, Amy and Rouge were happy with the result, they looked at Carmis who, in a respectful and kind way, thanked each one of them for having trusted in his plan.
『I'm sorry it ended like this my dear guests, I should have finished this myself days ago but...I didn't see myself as the victor in a fight, but now with this first victory I got, I may initiate...no, this is the first step to become a legend!!!! 』-『Really, I thank you all *smiles*』.
Carmis was happy with this, it was not only all credit to him, but also for his guests who made it all possible. Zeta to this commented that she was right when she saw him, but mostly she was glad that the Demon also had his own growth in all of this. While Rouge, seeing Carmis also having given his all, still broken but keeping his poise, and seeing him winning like a true warrior or as he says legend, it was natural for him to praise him.
『You still have that elegant bearing even after you have no strength left, I didn't underestimate you, after all we Demons are beings who always accomplish our goal, I'm glad that you are happy my compatriot, that Medusa, I'm even envious right now if she has someone like you who loves her 』.
Rouge was saying it in a sincere way by putting aside the flirting she always has with every time she sees her opposite sex, hearing this Carmis, she was really glad about this, and she was also apologizing for something.

She didn't speak, she didn't say anything, she only looked at him and slowly approached him so that she could have him face to face with that little boy. Now that she remembers it, when she was under the possession of Carmis, in the state she is in, she came and was M when she was going to fight against her. Her arms couldn't take it anymore, her legs were killing her, the cuts, the blows, the pathetic state she looked in, and yet M decided to fight her to the end. Already having him in front of M with his eyes closed, Blaze was smiling at this and said nothing, he raised his hand placing his finger on the little boy's forehead and finally said to him.
『You are someone strong M, and you will be even stronger, I'm glad to see you in this state, that just means you are able to survive to the end and fight giving your all *smiles*』-『I'm glad...that you are well...』
Blaze didn't take his finger off M's forehead, who this one couldn't hear anything his friend said, what's more, he couldn't even feel the touch of his fingers or that he was at his forehead, now that he sees it better Blaze, M may never see him in such an unprotected and unconscious state again, Blaze stared at him seconds more, he wouldn't move away, what did he want to do? It's not just a touch of fingers? you could notice how his arms wanted to make another movement than just touching his forehead, really at that moment, Blaze felt like an unprotected child who needs help.

Blaze climbed him on his back and happily commented on that, noticing him on top of him, he really was like a dead weight but...in another way he was warm in a way, it was like having a child that if he wasn't protected or if something happened to him, this one would really break in heaps, he needs protection at all times. Blaze to this was glad, but he really didn't just want to put it on his back, at that moment when he looked at it closely, he wanted to hug it for all that he tried so hard. But it was just something she couldn't see herself doing or just imagining, she wasn't being sincere at that moment.
She took him to the second floor, those moments of silence where M only depended on her to be able to live, was something that really made the Kitten happy, when she finally met with her companions, she was watching how they were helping Sonic to carry Amy on his back, but it was not only that, but how her companions were talking and chatting as normal with the Demon, as if they had made a companion, as if they had made a new friend....
『I knew it, Kitten already brought M』
『You were right Amy, Blaze!!!! This way!!! Now that we're all gathered and there's nothing to do here, also it's already too late and no one can handle these conditions, shall we go back home?』

Zeta gave the order and details to be able to finally leave the island, where Rouge gave the go-ahead and Amy also agreed with this, they went on to retreat and walk from side to side, to this Carmis was only silent with this, he said nothing, he simply stayed in his same place where....Blaze stared at him and serious as he always has been, Carmis to this thought that maybe he wants a fight, right now he can't use his portals, magic nor strength, he is totally finished.

Blaze was making this clear to him, where Carmis and all of us think this is because of the Kitten, but Blaze meant it, he appreciates the demon's help on this occasion, but he still thinks he's a threat, despite the many times he proved he's not. Blaze was leaving carrying M with his back to Carmis, who remained silent for a few seconds, he wasn't going to say anything? But...
『If that's what you want my dear guest tonight, then I can't refuse to such a humble request, I also want to finish what I have pending with you, you will be the next one with whom I will fulfill my next legend! *joy*』
Carmis said it with all the encouragement possible, although he couldn't do it anymore, he wanted to look as cool as possible against who seems to forge something new. Blaze was walking around ignoring the demon's words, but at that moment of hearing the answer, she was smiling in a happy way, since it seems she found someone not to be bored with.
The others who had gone ahead, Rouge was asking if the little devils would continue to linger on the island, to this Zeta answered that there is no problem, at that moment the leader Zeta would turn her back, but she was confused to notice that someone was not with them, Carmis who had remained alone without moving, he said in his mind that he should also rest, at least he had the chair that had not been destroyed but...
『Hey!!! Carmis!!! Why are you just standing there? Aren't you coming with us?!!!』
