Bab 49: Dying Thirst, Dripping Elegance, and Constant Heart Attacks

Hours passed.

The sun set down long ago and the moon came out of its hide, joining the countless shiny stars in the vast sky.

And I did not move an inch from where I laid down on the freshly trimmed grass.

Though the grass pricked my skin, my body became numb to its blades a while back.

How much time has it been?

I lost track. It began with me wanting to be out in the air and see the setting sun when I woke up with a distorted headspace, and it turned into waiting for the sun to rise.

Maybe the rising sun will help in lifting the darkness that currently threatened to devour me whole.

Distant crickets chirping filled my strained ears, and I shivered a little at the cold rush of the jolting wind.

I closed my eyes.

As soon as I did, the horrific events in the vision crowded my mind and I instantly opened them wide.

Looks like I will not be having a peaceful sleep for a while.

"Here. You will get cold."
