"Mildred do both of us a favor and tell me the truth ",said Lucien.

"I'm telling the truth. I don't mean you any harm", she said to him.

"Then what is the meaning of this?", he asked.

"Forgive me. This was a mistake. I have a confession to make. I have done this a long time ago. I have regretted it after getting to know you", she told him with tears in her eyes.

"What did you do Mildred?", he asked. His patience was wearing thin. I knew that if I didn't stop him he will break something in this house.
