Bab 199: CHAPTER 199: I’D BE WORKING AT HIS COMPANY

When dinner time came, Zarina went downstairs when Charles called her. She didn't notice what time it was already when she indulges herself in thinking of new designs.

When she reached the dining room, Grandma was already sitting on one of the chairs waiting for her, and Draymond was wearing his coat in his favorite spot in the dining room. 

"Did you just get home by now?" Zarina walked towards him, kissed him on the cheeks, and then went to her seat before Grandma.

Zarina's gesture shocked Draymond. He had been tired all day and almost wanted to lay down in bed, but his mind was still lingering. And here she was, her wife, removing all his tiredness with a simple peck on the cheek, which she doesn't normally do. 

Nevertheless, he knew it was only an act since Grandma watched over them. However, he still deceived himself that it was Zarina's act of love for him. After all, no one would know that he started to deceive himself to be happy.
