Bab 126: The Favor

The bathroom has a 1 huge bathtub. It was made of wood, but surprisingly, the water slowly became warm when put into it. This was because the tub had an enchantment.

Since the last war, cultivators have started to see the potential use of spiritual energy on making their life easier. During the war and the years before it, all cultivators focus more on combat capability. There were still people in the auxiliary professions but they were more concentrated on creating things that could help in a battle. Things such as cosmetic pills and non-combat use enchanted items were frowned upon and only appealed to the mortals.

In the old days, strong cultivators were arrogant that they deemed strategy and similar stuff as petty tricks. "All will bow to the highest strength", this was what they believed until the war against the beasts. Both sides' strong cultivators had similar strength but the beasts have more numbers. Slowly, the humans lost until a cultivator, who was weak that he was deemed useless, created a plan. It was hard to convince the others but with his wits and intellect, the plan was followed and resulted in their first major victory.

The name of the person had faded throughout history as records where not deemed important until the near-end of the war. However, someone remembered the moment and recorded it. This made humans find their advantage against the beasts. This does not necessarily mean that the humans were smarter, as the beasts still have members that excel in their intellect.

The downside of this was that after the war, the humans became better at scheming. They were so good that they thought they were already the best. The war was now over but the battle of interest never stop. Not only against the beasts but also to their fellow humans and comrades. This was when spying and the likes became so popular which prompted the creation of the Soundproof Array.

Rooms can be soundproofed but if a cultivator has a high cultivation level, one can still intrude if they spread their spiritual energy towards the room. This was why the Soundproof Array was important as it was needed when having a discussion while avoiding eavesdropping.

Back to the present, Mu Yue was currently staring at Xiao Yan who stole her clothes. She just finished bathing and was about to change into them.

"Xiao Yan, give it back!" Mu Yue yelled.

"Stay inside, I'll be back after a while~" Xiao Yan then went out of the bathroom as she already changed to new clothes. She forgot something so she peeked through the door and said, "Dry yourself with a towel and go outside of the bathroom after. There's nothing to see anyway so don't be shy haha."

Mu Yue was embarrassed. The difference in age was not that far but the difference of their body was quite a lot. She then grabbed a towel and covered her chest. "Get out! I'm still growing."

"Right~~~ It would suck if its only the height." Xiao Yan said as she quickly went out of Mu Yue's sight.

After a while, Mu Yue came out with her body covered with the towel. "Xiao Yan, can you now give back my clothes?"

"Go upstairs! Meet me in the bedroom." Xiao Yan yelled while going to the second floor.

Mu Yue then went up and was now in front of the bedroom. The door was opened so she walked in and saw a lot of beautiful clothes placed on the bed as well as hanged to wherever is possible. She approached one clothe and observed it.

Xiao Yan was hiding behind the door. She then slammed it close which created a noise that attracted Mu Yue's attention. Xiao Yan then muttered, "You cannot escape anymore~~~ Prepare yourself for the 'favor'."

Mu Yue gulped as she steps backward. She then hits the bed's edge and looked at it. When she turned her head back to Xiao Yan, the latter was already pouncing towards her.

Both dropped to the bed. Xiao Yan removed Mu Yue's towel and mumbled, "I forgot you aren't wearing any undergarments yet. My fault..."

Mu Yue pushed her away as she quickly reaches for her clothes. She was about to put their school uniform but Xiao Yan snatched it.

"I said only the undergarment. This won't be needed, at least for the day. Please be cooperative so no harm will come to you" Xiao Yan smiled as she stored the uniform to her storage ring.

"Now... Time to do what must be done!"
