Bab 227: Stirring up war

This little device in my hand was a message from someone else. The question was unanswered. I know this didn't come from earth, nor did it come from the gods. It came from a being too far out for us to comprehend. The details. The brilliance behind this device. 

Whoever did this wanted to tell us something, but I have no way of unlocking it. And I refuse, deathly refuse to contact Atticus. We're letting that doctor know a little bit too much. And I must protect my family. 

I stayed with the device as I went into the underworld to retrieve the kids. I'm working this morning, and afternoon because Lucy claimed he hurt himself…. And I need time away to think. 

I flipped the device, still scrutinizing it with my gaze. I've never seen such detail, and attention given to a small thing. And they sent it here somehow. 

As someone who believes that there are more beings living in our Galaxy, I think this might have come from another planet.
