Bab 74: Lies

Bad things were happening, but I am good in a crisis. Also, Lucifer was sleeping in the opposite bunk. He woke up the second he heard the growl. I briefed him on what Kiki was going through and he just gripped her by the neck, and strode towards the door. 

"NO! We can't just throw her out. Can't we-"

His neck turns so our eyes meet. I can already see his temper flurrying from being abruptly woken up.

"She's shifting into a brainless, would you rather I keep her here so she can kill Milo and Lynx?"

The mention of milo creates a curve in my heart. He would be triggered if he ever saw another brainless. Normally, I wouldn't be this attached. Hell, I didn't even think I was attached to my gamma but as it turns out….
