Bab 96: Grief should never be in vain

Coming back from the pit of darkness, I felt a crushing pain to the side of my neck.

"Dante?" I whispered. Trying to recall what happened and why my neck hurts like the bloody Dickens. I can't even move. 

My fingers, frozen. 

My legs, frozen and tight. Fuck, what the hell happened? It certainly wasn't wild sex. I haven't done anything sexual since the first time. Even my neck won't budge. What happened? 

My memories flooded all at once, causing a stinging headache in my skull. I blew out a breath. Feeling my lips move, but they felt like they were swollen. 

I blinked, no bright light. I'm still in the jungle from what I can see. The trees, the musky air, and the sound of two people talking in the background. 

Oh fuck. I remember. 

Bloody hell, my mother is a fucking bitch. How is this possible? 

She was a good person. She raised me. She took care of me.
