"I don't. I don't cry..." Ken whimpered and raised a smile facing Kylie.
"What do you need? I can help you," Kylie said to him in a low voice.
Ken shook his hand. "I came here not for vacation." He smiled, then added, "I just feel so fretful without cigarettes."
Kylie laughed. It was effortless for her to deal with it.
The correctional officer came over to handcuff Ken, and he was about to be brought inside. Ken seized the last seconds saying to Kylie, "There is a bankbook in my pillowcase. Tell Faith to have it. I can't give her anything else, but I'll compensate her after I leave here."
Ken was already pushed to the door by the prison guard, but he struggled not to move a step ahead. He turned to look at Kylie.
It was an unforgettable, heartbreaking look. "Kylie, I'll chase you again in the next life!"
When Kylie walked out, she told Faith what Ken just had said to her, and they came to Ken's house together later.
