"Yes."

"Then he woke up, and when you went to see him, you found him being intimate with another woman."

"Mm."

"And throughout all of that, you didn't think that you had to keep me in the loop."

Evelyn turned her face away with obvious embarrassment, but Dinaia didn't relent:

"Me, your sister in all but blood, the aunt and godmother of your son. You didn't think that I had to be kept informed."

Seeing Evelyn fidgeting, she exhaled and allowed her some respite.

"Alright, I can reluctantly let that pass. Then you met him at the bar you worked at yesterday."

"Mm."
