Bab 141: A Bond Between Father and Children

Duncan had never felt so relieved in the entire time he had been on this planet. He had endured a lot, suffered so many times, and yet, not like this. 

This was the second time he had felt so helpless. And so useless. Just because he needed to follow the rules that he had helped make. And he also had to follow human rules as well.

Duncan looked down at Nicole's sleeping face. The Oracle did a good job of keeping her asleep. She would be traumatized by the things that happened to her. He was glad that she took the initiative to spare his little girl.

Something in his chest snapped close, binding her to him, he looked at Claude, and another snap happened. It was quick and it was forever. 

He was now, he was father once more. A father of two new immortals, no, demigods. These kids of his were demigods. Because he gave them a part of himself when they died.
