Unable to sleep, Charlotte Cooper decided to give up even trying. Instead, she rested her cheeks on her hands and started observing him quietly, indulging herself in his good looks.

Charlotte began to believe that she was indeed obsessed with physical appearances, otherwise, why would she be attracted to a madman like Henry Russell? He was borderline obsessive, always wanting to keep her constantly by his side, yet she tolerated it. The most compelling reason was his handsome face.

She had to admit, Henry Russell was breathtakingly handsome!

His features were unconventional, not the traditional chiseled heroic look. His high arching eyebrows and slightly deepize eye sockets gave him an exotic look, as if he was of mixed race. His porcelain skin also made Charlotte a tad jealous.

Henry was sound asleep. His extraordinarily long eyelashes made him look like a handsome young man who had just stepped out of an eighteenth-century European oil painting– incredibly attractive.
