"Slap." Before Charlotte Cooper could react and refute, a crisp and loud slap landed on Kong Mingdeng's face.

The thick foundation on her face began to turn red as Kong Mingdeng covered the injured half of her face. It seemed like her eyes were filled with disbelief.

Across from Charlotte Cooper, Lily Clark stood idly with a faint smile as if nothing had just happened.

"Oops, my apologies." Lily always stood up for her loved ones, her eyes filled with fierceness and malice, not unlike Henry Russell's. "But, you really deserved it."

Having said that, Lily raised her eyebrows happily, squinting her almond eyes slightly with a proud smile. Her expression seemed to say: I am the young lady of the Russell family, what can you possibly do to me?
