Bab 349: Chapter 349: Working Together

Henry Russell said something and then left.

Ethan Carter looked at the documents on the screen, then looked around. Finally, he got up and left, tossing the documents casually onto an employee's desk, but unexpectedly, everyone claimed they didn't know how to handle it.

"Really, none of you know how to do this?" Ethan Carter asked, but didn't get any response. It seemed as if he was talking to himself. Apparently, the earlier comment from Henry Russell had had an effect. If anyone did know, they wouldn't step forward to help Ethan Carter now.

"Hey! I don't believe I can't figure this out!" Ethan Carter returned to his office and started studying the computer screen again.

An hour later, Ethan Carter, suffering a headache, finally admitted defeat. Usually, he wouldn't have to think about such problems at all. He would just ask Susan Hawk for help. But ever since he understood Susan's feelings, he felt awkward and had difficulty facing her.
