Bab 5: 5. Love By Faith

I was buying a bouquet of flowers for Sarah, I know she will like them because they're her favorite

But when I entered the hospital there's an uproar, I feel something ominous about it

I quickly walk to the corridor where Sarah's room is and there... I can see doctors and nurses coming in and out of her room

I run to go inside the room and came to a halt, I couldn't see Sarah's face because there were so many people surrounding her bed

They're trying to revive her

All I can do is stare at her lifeless hand

I don't know how long it's been going on but I can't move from where I am standing it feels like my feet are glued to the floor, everything around me is in a time-lapse it's blurry

I feel so empty, none of these I have experienced in the past

"time of death---" one of the doctor announced

I came to my senses when I heard those words

That's the time I drop to my knees and cried

The bouquet of white roses are still on my hand

"You are my bestfriend and became my wife, I saw how brilliant you are, how bright your smile and how you light up a room with your presence" I'm trying to hold back my tears and my throat hurts like shit

"I only have one regret and that is how I treated you badly, I couldn't do anything for you, I'm sorry. I still can't believe that I'm standing here while you're lying down over there.... You've been through a lot, you were so strong and I always admire you for that" my eye betrayed me, tears streaming down my face

"I still don't know how to feel about you leaving me but I am glad you won't suffer from the pain anymore, you've endured so much. Sarah my dear I Love You"
