I swear to you I will not touch her while married. That is why I came to you. Does God expect me to stay with Vivian even after all the deceit and lies?"

"No, God does not expect that, but He requires obedience. You of all people should understand how leadership works. You admitted you made a vow. What is it worth to you?"

Curt lowered his head; the man was right. He promised to stay true. When he stole a glance to his friend and confidant, Phillip continued: "To God this is where your decision will determine your future. Not only yours, but your family and Sonia's. I feel for you my friend, I really do, but God is assessing you. Will you pass the test?"
