Give a Magic Stone?

In a dark room, a figure sat in a wooden chair, coming to consciousness and looking around in confusion. They blinked and looked down at their hands in disbelief before noticing the sound of something scratching.
They looked forward to seeing an open book, with a quill writing on the blank paper, as if someone were writing. Yet, the quill wrote by itself, with no one helping. They stood up and pulled the chair closer, inspecting what was written on the book.
The story took an unexpected turn, as Ince Zangwill's desperate gamble paid off. However, the Evernight Goddess was quick to use the Sealed Artifact 0 - 17 to hunt down and kill Ince Zangwill. He met his demise in an empty apartment, with no one the wiser. Strangely, neither 0 - 17, the Evernight Goddess, nor anyone knew of Ince Zangwill's demise. Quite ironic and coincidental, and in no way related to the machinations of 0 - 08.
However, a single coincidence, in no way propagated by 0 - 08, the magical quill that creates coincidences, led to an extraordinary result with the intent of evading capture by the Church of the Evernight.
A foreign consciousness inhabited the dead body of Ince Zangwill, who found her memories strangely missing. She then thought about this and realized it herself as she read this in 0 - 08. She then thought about the situations described in popular literature and novels, transmigration and reincarnation, which was partially true in regard to her current situation.
She then realized her gender, and how her body had changed, dissolving as the Sequence 5 Characteristics of the Gatekeeper appeared on the ground, expelled from her body. She possessed vague memories of this world, from an unknown source.
She then realized she had regressed to a non-Beyonder, and was now very much in danger. The Evernight Church, Church of Storms, Church of Steam, MI9, Aurora Order, Demoness Sect, Iron and Blood Cross Order, Numinous Episcopate, and a 'certain organization' are all still tracking down Ince Zangwill and 0 - 08.
Not to mention, the Hanged Man and specific existences outside this world all were paying close attention, hoping to sabotage that 'certain angel'.
As well, a 'certain angel' was very interested in 0 - 08, and thus was tracking and monitoring Ince Zangwill. This young girl felt her body change into a form she recognized. Tall, about 7'6, with platinum white hair that fell to the small of her back, with plain features,
She remembered nothing but the first few chapters of a certain book, and a few details about the world setting. She had nothing to her name, but the Sequence 5 Characteristics of the Death Pathway, and 0 - 08.
She quickly came to terms with her situation, as a calm mind would help the impending crisis that was ongoing in the world. This sudden acceptance of her new situation was helpfully done by 0 - 08.
Suddenly, a hand shot out and grabbed the quill. She knew very little, her memories vague and hazy, but she knew the effects of 0 - 08. A strange gift of some sort, perhaps. The quill would give as much as it would take. The life of the protagonist was as convenient as it was dangerous. And thus, she was quick to stop the pen from acting on its own.
She recognized this as the setting of a novel. However, she lacked any knowledge of the story after the first appearance of Ince Zangwill, when he was promoted to the Death Pathway.
What to do? She only knew that a disaster happened, something big at the end of the book. She needed to become a Beyonder again. That much was certain. But how? And what Pathway?
I turned to the book, letting go of the quill. It didn't seem to be hostile to me, as I had yet to use it myself, therefore it couldn't activate its negative effect. Thus, it likely couldn't act on its own yet.
She was contemplating what Pathway to take, a very good decision. A path of self-destruction all on its own, with no input from 0 - 08. But the paths she could take varied greatly.
Her desire to grow as strong is contrasted by her personality. She is not a fighter, therefore a powerful sequence with flashy abilities is not optimal. The sequence should be tailored towards indirect fighting and combat, with one Pathway standing out. It fits her description and needs perfectly. The Reader Pathway, controlled by the Church of Wisdom and Knowledge. But what next?
There was a way. 0 - 08 could easily write into existence any coincidence, and thus make her promotion smooth and comfortable. But she was hesitant, knowing the possible danger using 0 - 08 presented, which was overwhelmingly blown out of proportion.
She then picked up the quill again, before setting the pen to paper. She had a vague idea of where to start. The quill vibrated in her hands, and she could feel the little spirituality she had draining away as she put the quill to the paper.
Valerie Zangwill would leave Tingen, unnoticed by the Evernight Church or any Beyonders, and make it to Bunkland safely. There, she would meet someone of a High-Sequence who would mentor her and give her the Sequence 9 Potion of the Reader Pathway, and be considered an ally.
As well, she would strangely be coincidentally contacted by Klein Moretti, who would sometime in the future invite Valerie Zangwill to the Tarot Club. He would draw no connection between herself and Ince Zangwill, or 0 - 08.
She set down the quill and frowned. Valerie Zangwill. Her new name. One she made up. It sounded nice and neat. She sighed, her spiritually drained completely. As she sat back in the chair, a few seconds away from falling unconscious.
She lacked most of the spirituality needed to wield such a powerful artifact and became worried about whether she could even stop 0 - 08 as she was completely drained and wouldn't be able to use the artifact for some time.
She sighed, about to go to sleep, when she heard the scratching start again. She blinked, leaning forward to inspect what had been written. A nervous dread filled her being.
Unfortunately for Valerie, the Sequence 5 Characteristics of the Death Pathway attracted Beyonders of a similar sequence. Such was the nature of Beyonder Characteristics. Valerie was confused what this meant, which wasted precious little time she had.
Such a powerful characteristic would attract other Beyonders and Sealed Artifacts of the same Sequence, or related paths. And in such a small town, and due to the high Sequence, and of no help from a certain quill, the low-level Beyonders of the Evernight Sequence would be drawn like moths to a flame, as the Death Pathway was adjacent to the Evernight.
She realized this, and quickly grabbed-
Valerie stuffed the quill into her black robe, and picked up the book 0 - 08 had been writing on, running into the kitchen and putting it on the stove and setting the book on fire. She dropped the book and rushed out to search around the room to find it was a small abandoned house, and left out the back door as quickly as possible.
She made the immediate decisive decision to leave the Night Watcher Characteristics behind. It would throw the Nighthawks off her trail for now, and it was far too dangerous to keep on her right now.
She cursed to herself, running a few blocks away before heading to the train station. She pulled out an empty book from her robes, and the quill quickly got to work. Valerie watched nervously as it wrote and her eyes widened in danger. She quickly began to write.
Luckily for Valerie, a young girl lost a first-class ticket to Bunkland, which now was blown by the wind into Valerie's hand.
A piece of paper slammed into her chest, which due to her nerves at the time almost made her scream, but she stifled it and stuffed the ticket into her pocket. She then looked to the book again, her hands writing sporadically and nervously, as her Spirituality was already dried up.
She boarded the train and remained so inconspicuous that no person would remember her appearance or the fact she was on the train in the first place.
She quickly and hurriedly boarded the train, offered the ticket to the employee, and hurried to the first-class section, before collapsing in the comfortable seats, falling unconscious quickly. Her spirituality was drained, and she didn't comprehend what was happening when the sound of scratching went in one ear and out the other.
Valerie failed to comprehend the insinuation and hint given by 0 - 08, which was extremely unfortunate for her. The Law of Beyonder Characteristic Convergence meant that no matter how much she tried to hide, disappear, or improve her strength, a 'certain angel' would always follow and track her, as 0 - 08 belonged to the same sequence.
However, 0 - 08 would try to prevent this 'angel' from noticing Valerie as much as possible, to prevent his promotion to Sequence 0, which would prevent the resurrection of the Dragon of Imagination, the true purpose and goal of 0 - 08.
The quill then went silent, as a man walked past. He picked up the ticket 0 - 08 had been writing on, looked at the young sleeping girl for a second, checked that the ticket was punched, blinked at the cursive on the back of the ticket, before shrugging and walking away, throwing the ticket in the trash, where it would then be eventually burned at the garbage disposal in Bunkland.
Luckily, the ticket man was illiterate.

Just an expression of my love of Lord of the Mysteries. I have not read Circle of Inevitability, so some mistakes made be made. This is not a serious Fanfic an will update (If ever) sporadically.
