As Kayra walked down the hallway, her thoughts lingered on the strange dream. The castle's interior triggered a sense of déjà vu, as if every corner of it were reminiscent of that scene.

She paused in her steps and turned to the maids who followed her, inquiring, "Do you happen to know someone... with long, red hair and beautiful golden eyes?"

The maids who were suddenly questioned were taken aback. They exchanged puzzled glances before shaking their heads in unison.

"Never."

"Oh…" Kayra more or less expected this reply.

Kayra looked at the outside world through the glass window and whispered, "is it day or night time?"

"Night time." A maid replied.

She stared at the gray sky for a minute and noticed it was a much darker shade than usual.
