Jing Qiu's heart stilled as she looked at the black-clothed youth next to her. This was a secret she had been always hiding, unwilling to discuss it because of all the misgivings she had on the subject. However, this time she was forced to make a move, and even though she had been prudent enough to hide her aura and transform her body, she was still recognized. Jing Qiu had been prepared for this to happen. Xue Ying was, after all, her husband, and while an outsider might not have been able to tell, it was much more likely that her partner would be able to discern the truth.

"Indeed." Jing Qiu softly nodded, unable to hide her anxiety.

She was afraid. She simply valued her husband so much, so she was afraid and concerned about the outcome of this discussion.

"You're a reincarnated lifeform?" Xue Ying asked.

"Yes." Jing Qiu sucked in a breath of air, and, staring straight at her husband, she asked, "Are you going to avoid me now?"
