Bab 10: Logic Ten
"Hide's POV"
Outside the high school building, sitting on the green grass just next to the furnished pathways and a nearby old janitor who is raking dead leaves from a not-so-long distance away from us. I can't focus studying my own script when someone with a raging bulge is sitting right behind me. We only have two weeks and I have to play the part of the main character, I can't mess this up. Heck, I don't even know anything about acting.
"Raihen, you can stop that now," I told irritated.
"Stop what?" He laughed and innocently pretended.
"Stop rubbing me all over, you're making me feel uncomfortable" I complained. I shake his arms off my body and focused on my script once more. A few people passing by had eyes darting toward us like we're some kind of weirdos, while some other girls giggle as they pass by probably thinking we're some kind of couple. All this attention is making me very uncomfortable, but I'm sure I can pull anything off if I put my mind into it. If it's something new I just have to get used to it, or at least, that was how I adapted in life. Until Raihen decided to take a bite off my neck.
"Hey! Can you stop for once?" I furiously scolded.
"My bad," He giggled. After taking a short pause he smirked delightedly. "I just thought you looked so tasty" Raihen added in a much deeper voice.
"Pervy bastard," I angrily scowled, glaring at him.
"Thanks!" He cheerfully replied taking the insult as a compliment. The ginger-haired boy placed his huge hands on both of my shoulders and starts to massage it.
"Raihen. I'm not in the mood. Please," I told sincerely. I put his hands down one by one and his expression suddenly turned into that usual obnoxious grin of his again.
"If you're not in the mood, why don't we turn you on a little bit?" He licks his his lips and kept his tongue stuck out. One of his hands began to crawl down from my chest inch by inch going down to my pelvis. But before he was able to go further, I was able to punch him in the face, I tried to be less forceful than last time.
"Ow," He frowned.
"I punched you before and I'll do it again," I threatened. Although that's when I realized, it backfired when he just smiles at me again in response.
"You know Hide," Raihen muttered. He pauses and encircles his arms around my waist. "I'm a masochist," Softly he whispered into to my ear, making my skin crawl. I gasped a little when he pressed his hips against me all sudden. His boner was definitely more obvious. Just how big is he? It won't stop poking me. I really really wish he would just stop. This handsome pervert shakes my entire being, it's terrifying.
"Why are you like this?" I complained. I'm already physically powerless against him, I am not sure how I can knock some sense into him. I can't just tolerate him all the time and get used to it.
"Hmm?" He cluelessly looks at me. I became disheartened just by looking at him because I know he's just being himself around me.
"How can you be so honest about your carnal desires?" I grumpily told. "Show some restraint sometimes," I urged.
"Hmm..." He contemplated. "I'll think about it," Raihen said.
"There's nothing to think about," I sneered.
His perverted nature throws you off in more ways than just one. But I think I'm starting to understand him little by little the more I spend time with him and I'm starting to see that he's not a bad person.
From a short distance, I see a glimpse of Arum with a girl; assumingly Yvonne, coming nearer and nearer towards us.
"Hey, guys!" Arum greeted. "This is Yvonne," He introduced the girl beside with her.
"Hi!" She also greeted. Judging from her tone of voice and appearances she seems to have that bubbly kind of personality like the one Jesskah has.
"Yvonne, this is Raihen and my best friend Hide," Arum formally presented. Ugh. I swear, it's the same thing every single time, I've heard this repeatedly, there's nothing new.
"I've heard so much about you!" Yvonne enthused. Right, it's the same phrase over and over again, why am I not surprised? The longest girlfriend he's ever had only lasted for two months but the rest didn't really last very long. I probably might've guessed that he won't last long with Yvonne either. I know this isn't very supportive of me as his best friend but, I don't think Arum knows when to stop. But, if anything, Yvonne is probably the closest one he's ever gotten with compared to the previous ones he dated in the past.
"It's... Nice to meet you too," I replied. It's only usual I don't deal with random people and strangers in general very well.
"Anyhow, we're off! I'll see you both later!" Arum dignified giving Raihen and I a fist bump. Just like that they both left, Yvonne kisses the tips of her fingers then merrily waved goodbye.
"She's a nice and beautiful woman," Raihen rustled his chin impressed. I abruptly lost guard when his expression changes when he slowly turns toward me.
"It's too bad," He told bitterly with a smile and chuckles.
"He likes you."
His words almost deafened my ears.
"He'll be back," He followed.
"You think so too?" I asked. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so.
"Yeah."
"How can you be so sure? What do you mean he likes me?" I asked again raising an eyebrow. He may be on to something.
"My gut feeling told me, also he probably just doesn't realize it yet. It's kind of obvious, just by the way he looks at you or talks about you," Raihen implied. He releases his body around mine and properly sits beside me.
"But of course, I could be wrong, who am I to assume?" He shrugged.
"I don't really follow," I told. I never really understood the concept of 'liking someone', I can solely base my judgment on proven stuff so I didn't really know what to feel, when Arum and Raihen kissed me. If there's something I learned. There is one thing.
Life does not give you all answers.
"I still doubt it," Raihen playfully smirked. I can't believe he's actually insisting that Arum has feelings for me.
"If Arum really did like me, he would confess to me," I told.
"True, but... It's not that simple Hide," Raihen hugged his legs and leaned backward, he stumbled after failing to maintain balance and decided to just lay on the ground.
"He's my best friend," I replied.
"That's exactly why, he's your best friend. You two had known each other for like, I don't know? Since before the evolution of man kind or something," He placed one leg on top of the other and then hands behind his back.
"Best friends can also hide secrets from each other, it's because he knows you that well that he doesn't want to show or tell you anything about it. Maybe he's afraid of being rejected by his very own best friend and risk losing the friendship you both have together," he added.
"What? That's ridiculous, Arum knows well that I won't do anything to destroy our friendship, that's how much I trust him," I protested. Raihen smirks in response.
"But if he ever does confess, will you be able to return his feelings? Not all friendships are perfect Hide. Capische?"
"Raihen. Arum has no feelings for me, let's stop talking about this," I replied irritatedly. Raihen may be a pervert, but he isn't your ordinary average goofball. There's just something about him that I can't put my finger on.
"No capiche?" Raihen instantly hopped on his two feet and brushed himself off.
"Anyways, I'm hungry, let's just get something to eat," He suggested while offering a hand to make me stand up, which I immediately received of course. As he did I was caught off guard yet again when he forcefully pulled me in making me bump into his chest.
"Or I can eat you instead," He smirks. After a few seconds of trying to figure out what he meant, I shove him with both of my hands.
"Shut up!" I yelled. He just laughs it off.
"Come on let's go," Raihen playfully winked. I swear, I'll wipe off that smile of his obnoxious face one day.
"Pervy bastard," I muttered under my breath. Then I laughed a little in amusement. I guess he isn't so bad to be with.
Still, I don't rely upon my gut feelings as Raihen does. But something tells me that there's still something I don't know about him.

Home.
There's nothing more rewarding than staying at home after having to deal with a long day at school, being around so many people and all that.
Arum's been more busy than usual because the interschool sports competition comes in just a few more days and right now he's in the middle of his club practices. Raihen as usual always likes to stick with me, I told him to stay in the living room and watch television or whatever the heck he wants. I am a little annoyed because I feel really icky and disgusting after arriving home.
"I'm taking a shower, just don't break anything," I told.
"Want me to join you?" Raihen offered wearing an obnoxious grin.
"No," I abruptly declined.
"Alright, I'll just be here when you need me," He takes off his shoes and spreads himself on the couch comfortably, he definitely sees this house as his second home.
Raihen will be joining us for dinner, I already informed Arum and texted him. Told him that we were having steak, I think I can get Raihen to assist me, but I'm still not sure how well he can work in a kitchen or if he has any experience in cooking.
I grabbed a towel in our bedroom and stripped my clothes away then tossed them in the laundry. Not long after, I stepped into the bathroom, took off my glasses and showered. I let the warm water flow through my body and breathed deeply. Rather than immersing myself in overflowing thoughts from everything that's happened so far, I allowed it to be washed away and cleared my head.
There are a lot of things that can be really strenuous for a person like me. I used to be really frail, having overprotective parents didn't really help, which is why I always stayed at home when Arum and I were so much younger. A boring person like me can't really live up to everyone's expectations. It wasn't really a big deal until I grew up thinking I barely need to communicate and socialize. After a quick fifteen-minute shower, I immediately wiped myself dry.
I wrapped the towel around me, grabbed my glasses and stepped outside of the bathroom. As I put on my glasses, I could barely react when I already saw Raihen already half naked shirtless, jacking off. His body exposed his thick and beautifully toned muscles and abdominals.
He also seems to be sniffing something. He saw me out, although he didn't stop.
"Your underwear smells so good Hide! I found it lyin' around somewhere! Sorry, I couldn't help it. I got hard and started doing stuff," He chuckles, his face guiltily turned red as he continued to beat his obviously seen huge meat stick.
Except, that's not even my underwear. It's Arum's. I facepalmed myself in embarrassment, my best friend can be so irresponsible.
It's not like it's the first time I caught someone masturbate. Arum would immediately panic, cover himself and immediately tell me to close the door. Even though I always knock before I enter. But Raihen...
"You're in our living room," I told.
"Yeah?" He raised an eyebrow amused.
"Have some shame, will you? At least do it privately," I scolded disappointedly with a sigh.
"Don't you wanna watch me?" Raihen smirks playfully as he spreads his legs further. He grabs his massive shaft with both of his hands and strokes it slowly but genuinely. He softly panted breathily while making each stroke with direct eye contact towards me. I immediately cover my field of vision and turn around.
"No. Raihen. Just please put your clothes back on," I urged. Can someone tell me why I'm put into this situation?
"You're way much sexier than I thought," A breath of warm air crept on my shoulders, I jolt in response and turn around to see him already behind me.
"I do not. Like surprises," I told annoyed. Before I realized it, his pants are already all the way down to his feet. This guy doesn't even wear underwear. Being able to see much closer, his member looks really thick and he's a lot hairier than I thought he would be.
"Come on, touch it," Raihen indulges, he takes a hold of my hand but I immediately take it away.
"Heavens no, I'm not touching that, it's filthy," I immediately argued, it's like it won't even go down and it's twitching like crazy.
"Pleeease? I'll make you feel good too! I promise!" He pleaded with puppy eyes. Boy, you won't fool me with that.
"No thanks," I immediately declined.
"Please?" He begged again, that's when he started pulling me closer, he places his hand around my crotch area. In reflex, I grabbed his shoulders and forcefully move him backward.
"You need to calm down. I'm not interested in anything sexual, and this is making me feel really uncomfortable," I once again pushed him downwards to make him sit down on the couch. "Please," I politely asked.
"Since you asked so nicely, then I guess I have no other choice," Raihen mischievously smirked. He seems rather amused than disappointed. I gulped anxiously until he suddenly decided to lunge himself towards me like a predator and pulled me closer making me stay on top of him. My towel accidentally falls down and it makes me seem like the one who initially started it. Why.
"I'm going to give you a real good time Hide," The ginger-haired boy seductively licks his lips. Why does he sound insanely sexy? Hold up, I've never gotten this far and I've explored yet another part of him I never really want to. Raihen looks like a hungry sex beast. Fuck.
"I'm home!" I heard a familiar voice along with door a sound. He's here already?!
"Raihen, let me go! You're going to get us in trouble!" I try to struggle but he keeps he's holding me down, that usual obnoxious grin of his might be the end of me, it's super irritating! It's like he wants us to get caught.
"How about, no," He chuckled. "You're such a good treat."
"This isn't funny!" I furiously angered. I froze when Arum stepped in and instantly dropped his things speechless. Awkward. Everything's awkward. Damn awkward. How the fuck do I explain this to him?!
"Hey, dude! How are ya!" Raihen greeted and waved.
'Don't talk as if everything's normal!' Was what I wanted to scream.
"Uhm, I'll just stay in the bedroom and leave you two alone," Arum nervously sweats and pointed towards the bedroom. He picks up his things immediately in panic and leaves our sight.
"Ugh, you pervy bastard," I smack his head but he just laughs it off unfazed.
"Why, thank you!" He smiled.
"Tsk," I picked up my towel then hurriedly stormed off. Ah shit. I have to go pick up some clothes and explain everything to him. I entered the bedroom to get clothes from our wardrobe and see Arum lying on the bed with his phone in hand.
"Oh, done already?" Arum drops his phone and asked.
"Nothing happened. It's not what you think, end of story," I immediately told, that's some explanation Hide. I panicked. That's it. Of course, I did. Nothing like this happened before and I admit I'm embarrassed.
"It's really okay Hide, I won't judge," Arum told. "Honestly, I'm just surprised, I never knew you were capable of sex," He shyly told looking away with a hand behind his neck.
"That's not what happened!" I shouted. Silence beckoned and it just became more awkward.
"Sorry," I immediately apologize. Great, I must have flipped out.
"Whoa there, calm down, it's okay Hide, you're probably just overwhelmed again," Arum jumps out of bed and grabs hold of both of my shoulders to comfort me.
"There's a lot going on your mind again isn't there?" Arum asked out of genuine concern.
"I'm okay. Thanks, I think I just lost my rhythm," I replied nonchalantly with a bitter smile. Things like these barely happen, I think probably stress. It reminds me of when I used to have panic attacks when I used to be a kid. All of these new experiences reminds me of those old days I used to have. I should really try to meditate for dealing with everything at once. Arum has a deeper understanding of my habits and tendencies and I'm kind of grateful he still understands me.
"So... You didn't have sex with him?" Arum curiously asked. I got a little irritated that I gave him a small punch on his shoulders.
"Ow," He rubbed his shoulder lightly.
"No," I immediately replied. Arum breathes in and gives a deep sigh in relief.
"Well, if that's the case then alright," Arum shrugged. He stretches his arms and turned around until he faces me again.
"I'm exhausted," He leans forward and lazily let himself hang on my body with his chin on my shoulder. The gravity was trying to pull me down on his weight.
"I need to put some clothes on, I just took a shower," I told.
"You smell good," Arum alleviates himself from my body and suddenly grabs hold of my face. Both of us were just looking at each other at this point. He looks kind of serious. Then he closes his eyes and kissed me. Afterward he just stares at me, before I could even react, he kisses me again. This time a bit more forceful and passionate.
He held me even closer not an inch apart while holding the back of my head, he kissed deeper and I could feel his tongue gently brushing against mine inside my mouth. I smell him and he smells quite pleasant for a guy who sweats a lot. His pheromones are really strong and it makes me feel a little drowsy but at the same time it smells a little addicting. He won't stop kissing and I'm starting to feel too overwhelmed.
'He isn't drunk' I said in my own head. His lips were soft and it feels like I'm drowning. I was about to lose my breath but he stops at the right moment.
"I'm sorry, please forget I ever did this again," Arum vaguely told. He remembers what happened during the party?
"What?"
"It's nothing," He replied. He innocently scratches his back and smiled. "Don't think about it, I don't know what's gotten into me, so I hope you forgive me," My best friend pats my head and ruffles my hair playfully as a way of comfort, but it wasn't enough.
Arum's phone suddenly rang. His usual video game ring tone changed into some generic pop song I'm unaware of, Yvonne probably has an influence on him.
"Ooh, I wonder who that is. I'll go pick it up," Arum informed as he hurriedly hopped into the bed to pick his phone. Raihen suddenly call me from outside.
"Hide, your phone is ringing!" Raihen yelled.
"I'll be right there!" I shouted back.
Before I could move, I was driven by sudden anxiety when it hit me.
He kissed me.
Does he really have feelings for me? It's impossible.
Why do I feel like they're both hiding something?
There's something I don't understand and I'm really confused. Why?
