Bab 9: 9) Talks......
At six in the morning Iann was up before anyone else in his common room he had two things to get done before classes started today so he was going to do that. Getting out of bed he put on his work out clothes which was just a hoodie and some short, he also put on track shoes.
After getting ready he left Snow who was sleeping happily on his pillow before he went out of the common room, he didn't go to work out immediately but stopped by the kitchen. Inside the house elf's were at work getting ready to make breakfast, Iann looked inside and they all stopped looking over at him.
"Hey guys," He said giving them a friendly smile and wave, "Can we talk about the food. No problems with it everything is good but can you make me something healthier?"
They all looked at him curiously before one brave one stepped forward, "What's healthy to make, sir?" it asked.
"Well what's your name little one?"
"Mimsy, sir." she answered looking at him nervously.
"Well Mimsy if I teach you how to make me healthy meals then can you be my personal chef and make my food?" he asked patting her head.
She beamed nodding her head vigorously, "Mimsy can!"
"Well my name is Iann Edwards, I'm in Hufflepuff just call me Iann, here let me show you what I like." After that he took twenty minutes to teach her some of his favorites even some of the others came over to see it and gain some experience. "Well that is all for now I will teach you more later Mimsy, have a good day." He waved before walking out.
"You too sir have a good day!" Mimsy said excitedly following him out waving at him.
It took him a moment but Iann finally made his way to a good spot to work out, it was a path that led to the green houses starting from there he started to run around the Great Lake. As he ran he looked around the place it was a weird feeling seeing some of these places in a movie and now experiencing them for himself.
Finally after an run that took an hour he headed back to the common room he still needed to work on something he also had to be back in time to head to breakfast with everyone. When he got back to the common room everyone was still getting ready or asleep, since it was the first day they had to all go down together.
Iann went to his room but instead of grabbing his robes he grabbed the outfit he planned out for himself, he thought about it last night and he wasn't going to wear robe anymore. It didn't matter if others still wore them but he wasn't going to look like someone who just got out of bed.
Walking around the common room he eventually found a place where they bathed and paused, looking around it was just medium sized tubs everywhere there are now showers. Frowning he thought there was maybe another place so he walked around but when he still didn't find the showers it hit him.
There really are nothing but baths here, groaning he went back to his room there was a door that led to a separate closet, he opened it up. Seeing that it was still empty and Cedric was still asleep he started using his word magic.
"[Reform]" Using his imagination it started to take shape first extending then when it was a good enough size it started to change into a modern bathroom. There was a jacuzzi tub along with a wide standing shower with a waterfall head, it was big enough to hold five grown adults.
Nodding in satisfaction Iann walked inside closing the door, when he went in he didn't see Cedric looking at him wide eyed. Going through his routine he was out in thirty minutes with a towel drying his head, coming out he saw Cedric sitting there with his towel waiting.
"We will talk about this later but for now I'm next." Cedric said going inside not commenting that Iann was wearing muggle clothes rather than his school robes like he was suppose to.
Iann was shocked but then shrugged it off before he finished drying his hair waiting for him. He was wearing a yellow hoodie with a small badger pin, on the back like a jersey was his head of house name in giant black letters.
He was also wearing jeans since the castle probably had some places that would be cold he didn't wear shorts, his shoes were also some black and yellow trainers. While he checking himself out in the mirror Cedric came out and gave him a once over before pointing at his own robes.
"I can change yours too but on a condition." Iann said he didn't want to stayed hidden in the world his parents, uncles and aunts already had enough power to protect him. Plus he was going to be a power house himself running a third faction different from the light or dark so why be scared.
"What is it?" Cedric asked he also didn't like the robes it was obvious since his tie was loose and he tried to make his shirt as baggy as possible so he wasn't restrained inside them.
"You have to learn Occlumency from me later, I don't need my secrets being seen in your mind from some things we do this year." Iann said walking over to grab his bag slinging it over his shoulder.
"Deal now give me something matching but different from what you have." He said not even hesitating. He already saw Iann as his closest friend.
Iann looked at him and said "[Arrange Image]" making his clothes slowly take a different form, if they had charms on them then they would stay it was just the clothes design changing. Slowly they went like his but his hoodie was solid black with yellow wording, Cedric sighed in relief after being out the stuffy robes.
All his life that is what he wore but he hated them and wore muggle clothes around the house but the moment he left his dad would make him get back in the stuffy robes. The boys walked out their room heading to the common room where they already saw a group of people waiting for them.
When the two came out their perfect looked at them like they were crazy, "Why aren't you in your robes yet, go change."
"Not happening." Iann said with Cedric nodding along, though it might be blind loyalty he felt that following Iann things would be interesting.
"What do you mean?" The perfect said looking between the two first years.
"Well to be honest I hate the robes they are really just so constricting," Iann said seeing some people actually looked like they agreed as they pulled their collars, "So I figured what's wrong with wearing my normal clothes as long as I wore my house colors and supported my head of house." He explained pointing to his back where it showed her name and a giant number 1.
The rest seeing that started having their own ideas some even ran off to their rooms, the perfect looked down at him before grinning, "Well we are the house of loyalty aren't we?" He then took off himself, that spurred the rest, really they were all just too damn loyal but Iann liked it.
After awhile Dora showed up and seeing most of her house in muggle clothes with different fashion but wearing house colors she was shocked, going to Iann she whispered, "What happened why isn't anyone ready to go yet?"
"What are you talking about we are ready, we just all agreed we aren't wearing out robes anymore to stuffy if I say so myself." He said with a charming smile, he might not change his features unless it is for a joke since he is already handsome but his hair is always a new color. To go with the theme of Hufflepuff being a down to earth place it was a copper/auburn color that shined a little.
Dora didn't need anymore convincing and ran off to go change, she came back in a black sweater with yellow jeans, with unlaced black boots. After everyone was changed and dressed in muggle clothes even some pure-bloods that were in the house they went out to go to the great hall for their schedules.
When they all walked into the great hall it was already full so they were the main focus walking in, it was the first day so even the teachers were there. Of course Dumbledork saw them and even raised an eyebrow but it was Professor McGonagall who said something.
"Where are your robes, go back and change into them immediately classes will be starting soon." she yelled but she was intrigued looking at the back where Professor Sprout's name was.
The perfect hesitated a moment but looking back at Iann who was relaxed and smirking at him he smiled too, "I'm sorry Professor but we will not be doing that. No mean to be disrespectful but we feel to constricted in the robes, I mean even with the charms and silk they are just to uncomfortable to even wear. What is wrong with how we are now? We have house colors on with also supporting our great head of house Professor Sprout." He smiled at the pudgy teacher who had stars in her eyes.
She didn't look against it at all for what they were doing in fact she looked like she wanted to grant them a lot of points just for wearing something with her name on it. Of course Snape had to go and ruin it, "Well Puffs that is 200 hundred house points for disrespecting a teacher and not being in school mandatory robes."
Slytherin students looked smug while the other house were just watching the confrontation with interest, the Hufflepuff students looked down until they heard Iann, "So what!" he said making them all swing their heads in his direction.
Seeing the looks he smiled, "The points only let us win a house cup and change the colors of the great hall. What's so good about that? I mean if you are going to award points and make students care about them then it should be for something that actually has value and doesn't last a year."
Many people from his house who were done now started to smile and stand firmer, they saw the logic in his words they were even more happy with their choice. Snape looked mad being talked back at, "Well then how about a week detention for your cheek then boy."
Iann shrugged and followed his house to their table, but he heard a saving grace voice, "No one is giving him a week detention for voicing his opinion, is that clear" Though she had a smile you could practical see the dark aura coming off Professor Sprout, she was staring right at Snape too.
Dumbledork decided to step in at that moment, "I think the kids are right. While it is saddening to hear they don't care for winning the cup we can't fault them because of it. Though I would like to know whose idea it was to for you all do come dressed this way."
Iann stood up, "Mine."
"No headmaster it was mine." Cedric stood up next.
"No Mine." Dora stood up, slowly it turned into a 'I am Sparta' moment as they all stood up in said it each with a wide grin as they did, it was bringing tears to Professor Sprout's eyes seeing her house so united.
