Chai lingde stood on the wall of Nanhua Gate City in a daze, looking down at the camp of Zhao Hai's Army and the tunnel leading down the mountain.

They had originally dug many trenches along the path to defend against Zhao Hai's attack. These trenches were all within the attack range of Nanhua Gate city's bedposts. They wanted to force Zhao Hai's group to face these trenches when they attacked the city, and thus, more people would die.

This arrangement seemed really good before, because if Zhao Hai and the others wanted to attack nanhuamen city, these trenches would be enough to make them suffer.

However, what made Chai lingde dumbfounded was that, in addition to the trenches they had dug, there were countless more trenches outside the attack range of the Nanhua Gate City bed miasma. These trenches were all dug by Zhao Hai and his men, and they were still digging.
