As Yan Yunci walked to the parking lot, she reflected on the Lin family's treatment of Lin Xiao. 

Since his surgery, none of his family members had come to visit him, nor had they paid his hospital bills. If she hadn't paid the hospital fees, Lin Xiao might have been discharged forcefully or worse.

Since the Lin family didn't seem to care about his well-being, they wouldn't likely object if she arranged for him to go abroad for further treatment, right?
