Bab 321: Chapter 321: Jacob Clark called

Enna Clark reluctantly put down her bag, ready to calm him down.

Unexpectedly, her cell phone rang in her bag.

She bent down to open her bag, took out her phone, saw the caller ID, and her smile instantly faded. She waited five or six seconds before answering, "Hello."

Jacob Clark had already grown impatient waiting for her to pick up, and he immediately lowered his voice, questioning her, "Why did you send your sister to the police station?"

Enna clenched her phone, feeling numb. Their father-daughter relationship had been shallow for 20 years. He didn't call her for months, and when he did, all he asked about was Jasmine Clark. Fortunately, she had come to terms with not having the Clark family. She still had Bobby and Baron Lawrence, so it wasn't that big of a deal, "Didn't the police tell you the reason?"
