Bella snuggled against my chest like a cat, her smile blissful and serene. It was as if a great weight had been lifted from her shoulders. I gently wiped away her tears with my finger as she remained on my lap.
"Sniff. How can you hear all this and still treat me so tenderly? I am a no-good woman! Normal people would despise me for killing innocent people."
I lifted Bella's face and stared into her eyes.
"Bella. I would kill an entire continent if it meant that you would stay with me. I am done following the rules of others. I live this life for myself. I love you, so I will always be by your side. If I killed a million people, would you stop loving me?"
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"
The intensity of my honey's voice almost made me deaf. But her reactions were also beyond endearing.
"Then I see no problem, right? I am a demon, and the Sirens are all villainesses. I think we make a great match," I said with a smile.
