Bab 100: AvC: Trial (III)

The full moon illuminated the field below. Under its brilliant light, the competition for the 286th leader of the remaining dragon race was still ongoing.

It was now the second round. Two people had already answered.

The third contestant stood in front and chose the blue dragon.

The elder state his question, "What is passion?"

The third contestant straightened his back, "Passion is a strong desire that could let any man achieve an impossible feat."

Liam wiped the sweat on her forehead. This man's answer was acceptable.

"Like killing the other races who made us hide and rip out the guts of those who hunted us. We can win against them if we have 'passion'."

Though, he should not add that last sentence.

The elders nodded. Though some showed disappointment in their eyes.

The fourth one was asked, "How important is the inner peace of mind?"
