When the next ice block flew toward him, Zack split it with his sword in half and easily repelled it. In the next moment, he made his spear spin and then made it pierce the building that he was in. Much to his surprise, he felt some resistance; those white blocks of whatever the hell it was were pretty sturdy, but eventually, the spear pierced through it and then revealed the location of the enemies in some preservation tubes similar to the ones Zack saw before.

Before killing them there, Zack saw that they were all already asleep. At the same time, there were some tubes that came from their backs pulsating with energy, and the energy was being transferred in the direction the attacks came from…

"So, it is like that, huh?" Zack thought.

Zack began to understand the true nature of the enemy's relentless assault. The massive spells they were casting weren't just draining their own energy; they were draining power from the inhabitants of the white city.
