Bab 282: Heroine and Lucan's Fight 1

"You're not the only one with tricks," Nyx said, her voice cold as she teleported again, reappearing behind him this time. She lashed out with a spatial blade, slicing through the air toward his back.

But Lucan was ready.

"Push."

Nyx felt the same force hit her again, sending her flying backward, her attack missing entirely. She crashed into the ground but quickly rolled to her feet, scowling. This man was infuriating. He wasn't particularly fast or strong, but his words—those commands—were making it impossible for her to land a proper hit.

Lucan stepped forward, closing the gap between them, his expression still calm. Nyx teleported again, reappearing at his side, and unleashed a flurry of blows, each one enhanced by her spatial magic to increase their speed and power. But every time she struck, Lucan would speak.

"Stop."

Her fists froze in midair again.

"Push."
