John thought that Charlene's suggestion made sense too. Gu Shaoting was all-powerful and very well known in the Chinese business world, but he was relatively unknown overseas. He probably didn't have many opportunities to make friends with business big shots outside of China.

He could take this opportunity to help Gu Shaoting out.

John pondered for a moment before he said, "Alright, I'll talk to him and see if he's interested..."

"Dad, it's okay. I'll let Brother Gu know. He'll be very happy." Charlene didn't let John finish before she interrupted.

She fought for this opportunity for her Brother Gu. He would be grateful to her.

It would be so great if her Brother Gu stayed in France instead of going home.

The thought of him leaving made her feel a little sad.

"Go ahead then." John said helplessly.

Charlene turned around and immediately called Gu Shaoting.
