The news from Devine had shattered Garmond's plans. Escaping unnoticed? That was now nearly impossible. His mind reeled as he processed the reality—there was a barrier around the school, a safeguard he hadn't even known existed.

"But... is there any way to pass through the barrier unnoticed?" Garmond asked, trying to mask the desperation in his voice. If he was going to pull this off, he couldn't afford even the slightest mistake.

"Well, you could always leave through the front gate," she replied with a smirk, watching him closely, as if savoring his struggle. "But there is... another way. I'll tell you on one condition."

Her smug expression made the deal clear enough without words. He wasn't an idiot—he knew exactly what she wanted.

The real question now was: Would he let them come with him?
