Bab 37: The Great Wall

The battle continued with Pidgeot flying up in the sky, glowing in a golden color. Liam told Dragonair to focus on dodging her next attack, but that was in vain because right after Pidgeot disappeared, which caused Dragonair and Liam to be in an alert state and look around, but before they could do anything, Dragonair was knocked out on the ground and had fainted.

Liam didn't even see what had happened, but Shadow, who was watching from the shadows this whole time, had seen him, which caused him to get excited about this battle. Liam went to pet Dragonair and told him that he did an excellent job and returned him. Liam asked Brown what attack that was, but Brown simply shrugged right back at him, causing Liam to laugh because he had done the same thing to him.

Liam wanted to continue making Pidgeot lose energy because you never got to see this guy's other Pokemon, so he sent out Ditto. Ditto came out and transformed into Pidgeot; at this point, Brown was pretty jealous that Liam had all these rare Pokemons and told Pidgeot to finish this by using Quick Attack quickly but Ditto also used Quick Attack, and they both ran into each other.

Ditto was sent back quite a few inches because the last minute, he had turned his beak silver, which lowered the amount of damage he was about to receive. Liam was shocked that he was able to think of such a move last minute, and Ditto also knew the force that was coming at him was more potent than his, so he started thinking of defensive move he could use to lower the damage.

Brown was also impressed with the fast thinking and then ordered Pidgeot to use Steel Wing, so they both used Steel Wings and were attacking each other nonstop, but Ditto was on the losing end. This fight almost looks like a sword fight but with wings. Ditto was finally knocked back down onto the ground, and he struggled to get up, but then Pidgeot appeared behind him and knocked him out with a peck.

Liam thanked his little Friend for his hard work. Shadow finally showed up roaring, causing thunder to strike the top of the mountain. Even Pidgeot raised an eyebrow because the last time she had seen him, he was just a pup, but now he looked tremendous and had grown quadruple in size.

Brown was excited to see Shadow and decided to go all out. Brown asked Pidgeot if he was okay to continue the battle, Pidgeot nobbed her head giving him the okay that she was ready even though she was tired and out of energy from the fight with Dragonair, she still wanted to see how strong Shadow had gotten.

The thunderclouds that Dragonair had summoned with the rain dance were still there, so Shadow used that to his advantage by asking a thunder attack once again. Pidgeot barely dodged it due to it being much faster than Dragonair's, and she wasn't expecting it to be that much quicker than the previous one right after she a dodged it she went in for a Quick Attack and tried to make her infamous attack from the back.

Shadow used Shadow Movements making Pidgeot pass through him, as soon as Pidgeot passed through Shadow, Shadow used Flamethrower and blasted Pidgeot in the back. Pidgeot was hurt at this point and was burning, Shadow didn't let up and continued burning her until he unleashed Hydro Pump right after that sending her right into the mountainside.

Pidgeot was trying very hard to stay awake and eventually fainted, which caused Brown to lift his eyebrow and say, "wow, it's been a while that I've seen Pidgeot knocked out." Liam said, "it wasn't a very fair match because she had faced off against several other Pokemon before facing my strongest."

Brown nodded in agreement and said, "well, I guess I'd have to bring out one of my other Pokemon. Liam was excited to see another one of his Pokemons because it seemed like this guy was the real deal, and it took several Pokemon just to bring down one of his. Brown threw a Pokeball down after returning Pidgeot. As soon as the Pokeball hit the floor, it felt like gravity had decreased for a quick second as a considerable Pokemon came out and as soon as this Pokemon dropped on the ground an earthquake had appeared over the mountain area.

Brown shook his head at his big friend, his one and only Snorlax to calm down. Snorlax looked at Brown and roared at him, signaling him that he was hungry. Liam frowned because of the power that was emulating from this Snorlax. Liam knew that this was going to be a fierce battle.

Brown quickly promised Snorlax that he would give him something to eat after the battle. Snorlax was pumped, knowing that he was going to have food to eat after the battle, so he looked around and saw that Shadow was just staring at him with battle intent. Shadow quickly unleashed a Shadow Ball on Snorlax, but the attack bounced off doing little to no damage.

Snorlax looked at Brown signaling, "saying you brought me out to fight this." Brown just smiled helplessly as Snorlax just sat back down and looked at Shadow, waiting for him to send out more attacks. Shadow got mad that this Pokemon was not taking him seriously, so he unleashed a powerful Hydro Pump which also bounced off Snorlax and then he went on to do a Flamethrower and then a Thunder attack which caused Snorlax to sneeze and when Snorlax sneezed a massive gust of wind pushed Shadow right into a tree almost knocking him out.
