Bab 38: Shikamaru's intense flirting skills
The next day
Tenshi, Ino, Haku, Hinata, and Karin met at the Cafe very early.
Tenshi looked at his child laborers and said seriously, "Alright everyone, today is a big day! We're going to be very busy! There's going to be a lot of people today! Around 30,000!"
Hinata held her head in a daze, "3-3-30,000??" Haku asked strangely, "We're going to…" Karin was in a daze, this was her second day… Ino asked quickly, "Boss! We're going to the Chunin Exam?!"
Tenshi snapped his fingers and smiled gently, "As expected of my excellent handpicked employees!" Karin raised her hand and added, "I was kidnapped." Tenshi ignored her nonsense, she was happy to be here for sure!
He continued, "We need to prepare all the cold coffee for today! I need at least 50 Jugs! Haku, you're on it!" Haku was dumbfounded, Tenshi looked at Ino and said "I need you to go to the paper shop and buy all their paper cups, every single one of them!" Ino nodded fiercely, Tenshi looked at Hinata, who looked at him with watery eyes, he skipped over her and said "Karin, start stretching!"
Hinata was dumbfounded, "But-" Tenshi held a napkin and pinched her lips, "Hinata-chan, you just have to act cute! That's all! You're my rising star employee!" he pulled out maid costumes and added, "Alright, put these on."
Karin, Ino, and Hinata's eyes bulged at the maid costumes.
Haku let out a breath of relief, Tenshi looked at him strangely, "What are you relieved for? I brought you one too!" Haku waved his hand and said seriously, "Kill me." Tenshi nodded, "After you put this on." Haku started sweating with the same serious expression.
A few minutes later
Guy rolled around, saying softly "I'll have the usual…" before pausing as he looked at Haku wearing a maid costume. Guy and Haku looked at each other before Guy sighed, "I must be having a nightmare…"
Haku's eyes twitched and Tenshi walked out, "Not a nightmare, but a dream, Guy-san! Lee is still recovering?" Guy nodded and Tenshi hummed, "Bring him this." as he handed Guy a bottle of Coffee.
Guy held the coffee and Tenshi waved his finger, "No time to worry about injuries. Today is a big day! If Lon Lon Milk can't heal him, then he's dead!" Guy said in shock, "The Milk!?" Tenshi nodded, "Mhm! This Milk has been blessed by the Goddess Malon."
Guy jumped up and did a flip on the spot, shooting out a thumbs up as he shouted "YOUTH!" Karin waved her arms, saying "Youth!" Guy laughed, "That's the spirit, Karin-chan! By the way, aren't you part of the Grass Village?"
Karin was stunned, she forgot about this…
Tenshi waved and said dismissively "I kidnapped her. Anyway, Guy-san. Here's your coffee. I'll be seeing you at the Chunin Exam!" Guy smiled happily and drained his cappuccino before running off, "See you then, Tenshi!" Karin held the cup and walked over, smiling happily as she put the cup in the sink.
Haku cleaned it while chilling the Cold Coffee.
Tenshi was making coffee and pouring it into empty Lon Lon jugs, checking the time on the wall, it'll be tight! But they should make it!
A while later
Tenshi pushed a big cart into the arena!
Haku was trembling as he walked behind him with the maid costume on. Hinata was blushing shyly, Ino was waving at people, smiling happily. She even wore the cat ears! While Karin looked around, pursing her lips.
Tenshi had gotten a coffee cart from the system! Yes!
The cart had an internal space to fit everything! It had a sand bed and a coffee machine on it, along with a spout for cold coffee. There was a stack of cups coming out of the cart and bags lining the outside!
The perfect on the go, Coffee cart!
Everyone was ready to watch Naruto, when Tenshi held a microphone, coughing. Everyone turned to him in an instant!
Tenshi cleared his throat and said "Hello, everyone. Welcome to Konoha's Chunin Exams! I own a Cafe in the center of town and have some to sell coffee to you all! We have cold coffee and hot coffee, even coffee specially made right in front of you!"
Everyone was dumbfounded, this guy was advertising here??
Tenshi waved behind him and Ino jumped out, holding Mocha as she said cutely "Don't forget to buy some, 'kay~?" Ino was really working hard for this paycheck…
Hinata touched her fingers together, whispering "Um… Please try it…" Hiashi saw this and his heart nearly stopped. He almost fainted on the spot!
Karin bit her glasses and winked with a smirk "We also have some sweets~"
Tenshi looked at Haku, who walked out and said softly "Ice cold coffee for a hot day…" Tenshi laughed and shouted into the microphone "Forget about Tea! That inferior sludge will cost you an arm and a leg for a sip! Bah! Only 400 Ryo for a hot cup! And 500 for a cold one!"
He put the microphone away and pushed the cart as the workers walked out, going to take orders. Mocha was held by Hinata, who stuck by the cart with Tenshi, cheering softly "Come on, Naruto-kun!" Naruto was dumbfounded by the whole process, looking at Hinata in a maid uniform.
How cute!
He felt refreshed already!
Hiruzen's lips twitched and the Third Kazekage said happily, "This coffee… My Ninja has given me some before. It's very good." Hiruzen nodded, actually, he wanted to go buy some too…
He sent an Anbu to go buy two coffees for him and the Kazekage.
The Anbu was overjoyed, he had to stand here all day long, he really wanted a damn coffee! This old fart was losing it but at least he was smart enough to know they needed coffee! He sighed, looks like the rumors were true…
What a shame.
Tenshi smiled happily as he made coffees for everyone, quickly sending out cup after cup. Ino, Karin, and Haku were shuttling back and forth in between everyone, handing them cups as more and more people started buying.
Guy was the first and then the civilians thought, 'If Ninjas buy this then it must be good!' and so the coffee cart started snowballing.
Tenshi already stocked up so much extra that even if all 5 Villages came together, he still wouldn't run out! You know, this cart has a space inside! Tenshi spent quite literally over half a million Ryo for everything.
As he was serving a hooded man with an animal mask appeared and ordered a cold coffee. Tenshi poured him a cup and smiled, "500 Ryo, sir!" The guy paid him and walked away.
Tenshi had a slot to pay and it went into the cart… But he looked at the guy, thinking it was familiar… Should be…
Tenshi pursed his lips while continuing to make coffee. Hm!
Sounded like Kabuto!
Tenshi thought of a strange axolotl-snake-man-thing saying 'Itachi you'll never beat me mwahaha' before forgetting about it. Well, that funny guy also likes coffee, who knew?
He carried on, continuously making coffee as Naruto and Neji fought. Tenshi watched the fight while making coffee at the same time, this wasn't so bad! Too bad he never really got to see Naruto for real, just some clips and hearsay.
Tenshi was excited to see a Tailed Beast Rasengan! He wondered if Naruto was going to use one here.
Unfortunately!
Naruto didn't even use a Rasengan.
Tenshi was a bit disappointed, where was the super Samurai Nine Tails Big Bang Rasengan? That was cool! He sighed to himself and pushed the cart around, serving customers…
Maybe next time.
Hinata cheered happily, "Yay, Naruto-kun won!" Tenshi made a Moka and said "Hinata-chan, bring this to Naruto." Hinata smiled shyly, "Mhm…" she changed Mochas and took the coffee to Naruto.
Mocha climbed up to Tenshi's shoulder and laid there, meowing.
Tenshi scratched her ears and continued with a gentle smile, "Thank you, ma'am. Thank you, sir. Please enjoy. We're open every morning at 6. That's right, right in the center. Of course! Thank you…"
Sasuke and Kakashi were missing so their fight was moved to last.
Kankuro and Shino were next but Kankuro forfeited and Temari went to fight Shikamaru, who wanted to forfeit but she attacked him instead…
Shikamaru did some master planning and caught Temari with a shadow from the hole Naruto dug before. Then he surrendered right in front of Temari's face.
Tenshi rubbed his chin and muttered, "Is this trying to pick her up?" Karin froze as she held a coffee, asking "Wh-what?" Tenshi made the coffee and said "Listen, first he seemed unwilling, wanting to forfeit and give Temari a free ride. But then he decided to fight. He showed his strength and worth, crushing her completely but in the end, he forfeited and let her go ahead."
Tenshi smiled gently, "Temari will probably be confused and curious as to why he did such a thing. If she becomes a Chunin, it's all thanks to him. Therefore she owes him, how should she repay him? Obviously, marriage." Karin looked at him, completely speechless. She walked away in a daze.
Shikamaru was dumbfounded, turning up and looking at Tenshi with a confused face. Temari was stunned and said "You! You really did that for me?!" she held her cheeks and blushed, "I-I-I hate you!" before running away with her fan.
Shikamaru stood there in a daze, who am I, where am I, what am I doing? How come I don't know?
Naruto's eyes bulged as he shouted "WOW! NICE JOB, SHIKAMARU!" Shikamaru turned his head and saw many people nodded with praise for his methods. Shikamaru was really dumbfounded! Like completely confused!
He said "I didn't!" they all nodded and winked.
He almost cried, he really didn't!
Why did nobody believe him?!
He turned to his parents and his mother gave him a thumbs up, very happy with her daughter in law. Shikamaru quickly left in a daze, walking away like a zombie…
