Polly darted forward, her feet barely touching the ground as she raced through the thick undergrowth. She twisted and turned with remarkable agility, leaping between the wild vines that lashed out violently in every direction. It felt like battling a beast of unimaginable power, each vine a limb of an unyielding creature.

As the darkness of night enveloped them, the moon rose to shed its eerie light upon their struggle, making it even more daunting. The limited visibility, cloaked in shadows, added to the challenge. Broken, having set aside his bow, now gripped his sword tightly, ready for battle.

"I know it won't be easy," Maylock muttered under his breath, the weight of their task pressing down on him. "At least we've given him the chance. If we slow down now, this monster will regain its strength, and we'll all be in grave danger."
